This qualification provides a good basis to help learners get a ‘foot first’ into training. It is mainly aimed at those who will use pre-prepared training materials to effectively deliver training within the workplace. Although the course can also be expanded to include development of training materials.

It is a practical qualification suitable for new and experienced trainers who wish to develop classroom skills and obtain a training qualification.
There is face to face delivery and assessment over 2 full days with a focus on the effective delivery of training. Time needs to be set aside outside of the classroom sessions for learners to prepare, develop and plan sessions which are delivered during the 2 day course. The course also looks at delivery skills, delivery methods, questioning techniques and time management.
This qualification is assessed by a practical assessment and a self-evaluation report. Learners will need to practically demonstrate the delivery of micro-teaching sessions totalling 25 to 30 minutes.
