A 3 hour course, delivered in your setting, this course is designed to support delegates for those working with or responsible for the well being and welfare of individuals with epilepsy.
The course aims to provide an understanding of the causes and triggers of a seizure and explains what to do in the event of a seizure. Included; facts about epilepsy, types of epilepsy, triggers and management of seizures. Promoting safety for those with epilepsy and possible first aid requirements including when to call an ambulance. Includes basic information on medication and its uses.
